Lesley Shires, a talented individual, came into this world in Fort Jackson, South Carolina, a place that laid the foundation for her remarkable journey. As she grew up, she was fortunate enough to spend her formative years in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and Gadsden, Alabama, experiences that undoubtedly shaped her into the person she is today.
Lesley's academic pursuits took her to East Carolina University, where she earned her degree and laid the groundwork for her future endeavors. Her thirst for knowledge and passion for the performing arts led her to New York University's esteemed Graduate Acting Program, which provided her with the skills and expertise necessary to excel in her craft.
Prior to discovering her love for acting, Lesley had a background in dance, a discipline that allowed her to develop her coordination, flexibility, and overall physicality. However, it was her experience in musicals that first sparked her interest in acting. It was then that she realized her true calling, and her teacher, the accomplished Don Biehn, played a significant role in nurturing her talent and guiding her towards a successful career in the entertainment industry.
