Liam O'Connor-Savaria, a dynamic and versatile animator and director, has his roots in the culturally rich and diverse city of Toronto, Ontario. In the year 2022, he reached a notable pinnacle of academic achievement by successfully graduating from the prestigious Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema at Concordia University.
From that moment on, he has been relentlessly pursuing his ardent enthusiasm for animation, his unwavering commitment and dedication gradually coming to fruition in the creation of a mesmerizing, captivating animated short film, aptly and fittingly titled "Can't Sleep". This outstanding, remarkable, and impressive piece of artistic mastery has garnered widespread, far-reaching, and extensive recognition, as it was proudly, honorably, and distinguishedly showcased at the prestigious, renowned, and highly respected Fantasia International Film Festival in the year 2024.
Liam's professional pursuits extend far beyond his creative outlets, as he has also taken the bold step of co-founding the groundbreaking production company, Perfect World Pictures, in collaboration with his long-time friend and confidant, Aidan Breit-McNally, as well as his fellow Concordia University alumnus, Martin Kramer.
