As a highly accomplished filmmaker, Liu's notable works include the critically acclaimed "Yi gen huo chai" (1980),"Yun qie liu zhu" (1981),and "Que shang xin tou" (1981),which showcased her exceptional talent and dedication to her craft.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Liu's personal life was marked by a loving union with her husband, Chin-Hu Tung.
