Lily, a multifaceted artist, hails from Royal Oak, Michigan, where she was born Liljana Talevski to Macedonian parents. Growing up in the metro-Detroit area, she discovered her passion for music and storytelling at a tender age.
As a young girl, Lily would serenade her neighbors with Disney classics from her apartment complex balcony, sparking a lifelong drive for performing. Her early performances laid the foundation for her future endeavors, which would take her to college and beyond.
Upon completing her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre at Oakland University, Lily became the first college graduate in her immediate family. Simultaneously, she honed her skills as a casting associate at Carrie Ray Casting, working on projects such as The Detroiters, Stone, Detroit, and The Five Year Engagement.
Currently residing in New York City, Lily frequently collaborates with playwright and screenwriter Howard Emanuel and is a proud member of Joan Rosenfel's Acting Studio. Her experience as an Acting for the Camera Teaching Assistant at Oakland University, led by Los Angeles-based actress Mila Govich, further refined her craft.
Mila Govich, a renowned actress, served as Lily's professor and mentor during her time at Oakland University. Govich, a fellow Balkan actress, has worked extensively in both stage and screen productions.
