Lindsay Korman-Hartley is a multi-talented American actress, singer, writer, and director. Born Lindsay Nicole Korman in Palm Springs, California, she has a unique paternal Ashkenazi Jewish and maternal Greek and Italian heritage. Lindsay's passion for singing began at the age of eleven, and she went on to win the Young Miss America Beauty Pageant's national pre-teen talent competition.
At fourteen, Lindsay made her professional acting debut as Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz at the McCallum Theatre in Palm Desert, California. Two years later, she and her family relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada, where she graduated early from high school and became the lead vocalist in the Las Vegas Sands Hotel's afternoon show Viva Las Vegas.
Lindsay's journey continued as she moved to New York City to perform on Broadway in the hit musical Grease! She has won numerous national vocal competitions, including The Los Angeles Philharmonic's Award-Vocal/Opera. Her most notable role to date is that of Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald on the NBC soap opera Passions, which she portrayed from 1999 to 2008.
Lindsay's accolades include a nomination for the Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Female Newcomer in 2000. She also wrote and performed the song "Kiss Me" for her character that year. In 2009, she joined the cast of Days of Our Lives, another NBC soap opera, and the following year, she signed on to play the character Cara Castillo on All My Children.
In 2013, Lindsay reprised her role as Dr. Cara Castillo on the revived All My Children series. She has also appeared as Mad Harriet on the TV series Smallville. With over 2000 episodes of television under her belt, Lindsay made her lead debut in the Hallmark movie On Paper. She has since starred in numerous Lifetime thrillers and written many of the movies she has appeared in.
In 2017, Lindsay wrote and starred in her first movie, Deadly Exchange, which premiered on Lifetime. After directing her tenth movie, Forgotten Abduction, Lindsay decided to pursue a career in directing. She has since directed over fifteen features for Lifetime, Crackle, and Hulu, as well as the true crime story The Romeo and Juliet Killers, currently airing on Tubi.
Lindsay's most recent project is the pilot episode of the supernatural coming-of-age series Paranormal Nobodies, which she produced, directed, and starred in.
