Catherine Pham, a talented individual, was born in the year 1974 in the city of Saigon, yet her life took a dramatic turn when she was just a year old, as she relocated to France alongside her parents.
This pivotal moment in her life would ultimately pave the way for her big break in the world of cinema, which came in the form of starring in the Oscar-winning film Indochine, released in 1992. In this critically acclaimed movie, Pham played the role of an adopted child of a French woman, set against the backdrop of French-ruled Vietnam.
