Lise Henningsen, born Rasmussen, embarked on her professional journey with an initial stint at Magasin du Nord before embarking on a career-defining collaboration with the renowned Stig Lommer at ABC Teatret in 1954. It was during this time that she had the distinct privilege of sharing the stage with the illustrious Grethe Hoffenblad. For the next 11 years, she remained a Lommer-girl, honing her craft and laying the foundation for a successful acting career.

These esteemed institutions included Det Ny Teater, Ungdommens Teater, Gladsaxe Teater, and Folketeatret, where she had the opportunity to showcase her talents and leave a lasting impression on the Danish theatrical scene.
