Biography

Liz Garbus, a renowned American producer and director, entered this world on April 11, 1970, in the United States of America. Over the course of her illustrious career, she has garnered widespread recognition for her outstanding work on a multitude of projects, including the critically acclaimed documentaries "What Happened, Miss Simone?" released in 2015, "The Farm: Angola, USA" from 1998, and "Becoming Cousteau" which premiered in 2021. In her personal life, Garbus is married to Dan Cogan, with whom she shares the joys of parenthood as they raise their two children.
