Liza's remarkable journey began after she earned her degree from The University of Texas at Austin, subsequently making New York City her home for a decade. During this period, she immersed herself in the world of Film, TV, and Theatre, fostering a rich and diverse professional experience.
Years later, Liza returned to her hometown of Austin, where she is now actively involved in politics, while also pursuing her passion for documentary filmmaking, independent feature productions, and political theatre.
One of Liza's most notable achievements is the acquisition of distribution for her first feature film in both the United States and France. This accomplishment was soon followed by a prestigious recognition, as Liza and her father were featured on the front page of The London Times in 2012, with a glowing 4-star review of Presidential Suite at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Liza's impressive resume boasts a range of credits, including co-producing and ADing feature films alongside esteemed industry professionals such as Mel Brooks, Robbie Bryan, and Andrew Bujalski.
Currently, Liza is working on a documentary entitled Children of War, a poignant and thought-provoking follow-up to original interviews conducted with young teens living in war zones all over the world in 1994.
