Ljubomir "Ljubo" Bandović, a celebrated and accomplished actor, originates from the charming town of Ivangrad, nestled in the picturesque region of SR Montenegro, within the borders of the former SFR Yugoslavia. His academic endeavors guided him towards the prestigious University of Arts Faculty of Dramatic Arts, where he diligently refined his craft, cultivating a deep understanding of his art. Since the turn of the millennium, Ljubo has been a constant and esteemed member of the revered Yugoslav Drama Theatre, concurrently maintaining affiliations with other notable institutions, including the esteemed Belgrade International Theatre Festival, the illustrious Belgrade Drama Theatre, the respected Serbian National Theatre, and the renowned BELEF.
Bandović's remarkable career is marked by an impressive array of accolades, with his most distinguished achievements including the prestigious "Zoran Radmilović" award, bestowed upon him in February 2009, in recognition of his outstanding performance in the theatre show Ćeif.
He continued to solidify his reputation as a talented actor by winning the Grand Prix "Naisa" award in August 2011, a testament to his exceptional performances in The Sisters and The Enemy.
In October 2011, Bandović took home the top prize at the 31st "Borini pozorišni dani" festival, earning the title of best actor for his captivating portrayal in the theatre show Pazarni dan.
