Loren Lott, a California native from San Diego, discovered her passion for entertainment at a young age. Growing up, she would put on grand performances for her stuffed animals, toys, and twin brother at the bottom of her treehouse. Despite her mother, Sharian Lott's, initial discouragement, Loren's determination only grew stronger.
At the age of 13, Loren's mother surprised her by allowing her to pursue her dreams, and she promptly subscribed to backstage.com to start submitting herself for auditions. After sending hundreds of bold messages to agents, Loren finally landed a manager and an agent in Hollywood.
Loren spent several years pursuing her dreams in California before relocating to Atlanta, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Media Arts with a concentration in radio, television, and film from Clark Atlanta University. During her time in Atlanta, she appeared in various stage productions, including Shrek the Musical at the Alliance Theatre, and television shows such as Greenleaf, The Game, Tales, Fatal Attraction, Powers, and Tag.
Loren's big break came when she was cast as a contestant on season 14 of American Idol, where she made it to the Top 16. After her stint on American Idol, Loren began her career in higher theatre, landing the role of Gladys Knight in Motown the Musical, understudying Diana Ross in the national tour and on Broadway.
After taking a year off from Broadway, Loren returned to the stage, booking the role of a swing in Once On This Island. She then appeared as CeCe Winans in Born For This the Musical in Boston, making her leading lady debut before returning to Once On This Island, where she was temporarily bumped up to star as Timoune.
Aside from her professional acting career, Loren enjoys creating and collaborating on internet content, which has garnered millions of views across her social media platforms. She considers herself blessed to be continuously working and gaining support, and is grateful for the sacrifices her family has made for her dreams.
Loren's ultimate goal is to become a Disney Princess and leave a legacy of inspiring the next generation, as well as to become a superhero. Her dream is to inspire people to love God and love their neighbor as they love themselves. Follow Loren on Instagram and Twitter @LorenSharice, and on Facebook at www.Facebook.com/LorenSharice.
