Born in Mexico City in 1969, Lorenzo Hagerman embarked on a career as a still photographer, laying the foundation for his future endeavors. However, it was in 1991 that his journey took a dramatic turn as he ventured into the midst of the Yugoslav Wars, serving as a correspondent amidst the turmoil. This experience marked the beginning of a long-standing career that would span over two decades. Since then, Hagerman has honed his skills as a Director of Photography, bringing his expertise to numerous documentary and fiction features.
