Louisa's journey in the world of performing arts began at a young age, when she enrolled at London's renowned Sylvia Young Theatre School. This prestigious institution provided her with the opportunity to learn from some of the best tutors in the industry, honing her skills as both an actress and a multi-talented performer.
It was during her time at Sylvia Young Theatre School that Louisa secured her first professional role, playing the innocent schoolgirl Ruby Allen in the BBC1's BAFTA award-winning soap opera EastEnders. Her portrayal of Ruby Allen catapulted her to overnight sensation status, earning her widespread critical acclaim and numerous column inches in the media.
Following her departure from EastEnders, Louisa's star continued to rise as she joined another iconic British television show, The Bill. In this role, she played the inexperienced and shy police officer Beth Green, further demonstrating her versatility as an actress.
Louisa's impressive acting resume boasts a wide range of roles, including parts in the internationally successful American Pie franchise, as well as productions with the British Shakespeare Company, such as A Midsummer Night's Dream and Much Ado About Nothing.
In addition to her acting talents, Louisa is also a skilled dancer, having competed in the fourth series of Strictly Come Dancing, where she successfully reached the quarter-finals. Building on this experience, Louisa went on to tour the country as part of the sold-out Strictly Come Dancing arena tour, and represented the United Kingdom in the 2008 Eurovision Dance Contest.
Currently, Louisa is busy with her role in the new ITV comedy-drama The Edge of Heaven, a prime-time comedy that follows the trials and tribulations of a family running a guest house in Margate. For this project, Louisa is working alongside a talented cast, including Blake Harrison (The Inbetweeners, Him and Her) and Camille Coduri (Doctor Who, Midsomer Murders),and plays the character Michelle.
