Ella, a talented individual of Filipino descent, was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. She embarked on a remarkable journey as a professional dancer, building upon 13 years of formal dance training. Her illustrious 8-year career was marked by numerous achievements, performing on stages worldwide and collaborating with renowned artists.
Her impressive repertoire includes credits such as the Vancouver Grizzlies Extreme Dance Team (NBA),Norwegian Cruise Lines, and Celebration Canada, a performance that was showcased multiple times for the International Olympic Committee. As a principal performer for Roberge Productions and Transcendance Company, Ella also danced with the Company of Nine. Her remarkable experiences include performing for the Queen of England, Kid Rock, Pamela Anderson, and other celebrities, with the most memorable being her honor to entertain the Canadian Armed Forces in Kabul, Afghanistan in 2003.
Ella's passion for dance has led her to pursue a career as a choreographer, guest performer for stage and film, and dance instructor. Her success as a dancer has also opened doors to a flourishing career in film and television. After completing the program at Vancouver's prestigious William Davis Centre for Actors Study, Ella is currently studying under the guidance of Warren Robertson of the Actors Studio.
Early in her film career, Ella appeared alongside notable actors such as Jason Biggs in Saving Silverman, Arnold Schwarzenegger in the Sixth Day, and Hillary Duff in Disney's The Lizzie McGuire Movie. Her television appearances include MTV's 2gether, The Chris Isaak Show for Showtime, WB's The Mountain, and TNT's newest series Saved. Currently, Ella stars as Josie on CBC's daytime drama series 49th and Main.
Despite her success, Ella still resides in her native city of Vancouver, British Columbia, and is eager to explore writing for film, television, and stage.
