Lucia Popp, a talented actress, entered this world on November 12, 1939, in the charming town of Uhorska Ves, situated in the heart of Slovakia. Her remarkable career spanned numerous notable film appearances, with some of her most iconic roles including the 1999 sci-fi drama "Bicentennial Man", the 1993 critically acclaimed drama "Philadelphia", and the 2000 golf-themed fantasy film "The Legend of Bagger Vance". In her personal life, Lucia was married to the renowned German opera singer Peter Seiffert, as well as the Hungarian-born conductor Gyorgy Fischer. Unfortunately, her life was cut short when she passed away on November 15, 1993, in the beautiful city of Munich, located in the southern German state of Bavaria.
