Lucien Spelman is a multifaceted performer who has made a name for himself in the film, television, and stage industries, having taken on principal, supporting, and recurring roles in a wide range of projects produced by prominent studios and networks such as ABC Signature/Showtime, HBO/Max, Paramount, IFC Films, Lionsgate, Scott Free, and Romulus, to name a few.
As a child, Lucien had the unique opportunity to tour and perform with his father as a classical and flamenco guitarist, showcasing his prodigious talent in the 1970s and early 1980s.
In the 1980s, Lucien pursued his passion for acting, initially studying under his mother, actress Janeanna, and later receiving a scholarship to attend NYU/Playwrights Horizon's Summer Sessions, where he honed his craft under the guidance of renowned acting coach Bob Moss for two seasons.
In the 1990s, Lucien took on a new challenge, apprenticing and working as a stuntman alongside record-breaking stuntman Rocky Capella.
As a director, Lucien has achieved notable success, winning several awards for his semi-biographical short film "Whatever Happened to That Weird Kid?" and co-directing a music video for Robert Plant's song "Rainbow" with his wife Isabella. This music video was hand-picked by Robert Plant himself to represent his song as the winner of the Genero spec contest in 2015.
