Person biography:
Montgomery's early career began at Cambridge University, where she was a member of the Footlights, an amateur theatrical club. She then pursued her passion for acting at the Central School of Speech and Drama.
Montgomery's professional career took off as one-third of Comedy Theatre Company Population 3, alongside James Bachman and Barunka O'Shaughnessy. She also gained recognition as a roving reporter for the comedy television program The Friday Night Project in 2005.
In addition to her television work, Montgomery has made appearances in several BBC Radio 4 programs, including Down the Line, Robin and Wendy's Wet Weekends, The Way We Live Right Now, The Museum of Everything, The Department, Another Case of Milton Jones, The Party Line, Harry Hill's Ghost of a Christmas Present, The Pits, Torchwood's "Lost Souls," and Lucy Montgomery's Variety Pack in 2010.
Montgomery has also been involved in several comedy-sketch shows, including Tittybangbang on BBC Three, which she wrote and performed in from 2005 to 2007.
