Luís Hindman, a multifaceted individual of South Asian and Northern Irish heritage, has made a notable impact in the world of writing and directing.
His initial recognition came in 2015 when he received the prestigious 'One to Watch' award from Into Film, a esteemed honor sponsored by the British Film Institute (BFI) and EON Productions. The distinguished jury, comprising renowned industry professionals Alan Parker, David Yates, and Peter Kosminsky, acknowledged Luís's exceptional talent.
Since then, Luís has received numerous accolades from prominent organizations, including the BBC, The Academy Nicholl Fellowship, BlueCat, Screencraft, Sky Arts, and The British Short Film Awards. These recognitions serve as a testament to his dedication and passion for his craft.
Currently, Luís is working on his latest project, Magid / Zafar, which is being supported by the British Film Institute (BFI) and FILM4. The project is in post-production, and Luís is also developing several feature film projects and an episodic series.
