Luis Mario Quiroz Acosta is a talented Mexican performer, with a career spanning multiple disciplines including film, television, and theater acting. As the son of Enrique Quiroz Acosta and Teresa Acosta de Quiroz, and the brother of renowned actor, broadcaster, and producer Gerardo Quiroz, he began his journey in the entertainment industry at a young age.

In 1988, Quiroz Acosta received the prestigious Ariel Award for his outstanding performance as Carlos in the film Mariana, Mariana, directed by Alberto Isaac. This achievement marked a significant milestone in his career, showcasing his exceptional acting skills to a wider audience.

As a child, Quiroz Acosta was an accomplished soccer player, representing the Pumitas team as a winger from the age of eight until he was 16. His grandfather, Francisco Quiroz Acosta, was a skilled player who had played for Atlas, while his brother Alfonso had played for Pumas, further emphasizing the strong athletic background in his family.
