Biography

Luis Ignascio Alvirde Urive, a renowned Mexican luchador enmascarado, is currently signed with WWE, where he is known by the ring name Sin Cara, meaning "Without Face" in Spanish. Prior to his WWE stint, Urive was a mainstay in the lucha libre promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) under the ring name Místico, a role he held since 2006.

As Místico, Urive was the company's main técnico (face/storyline hero) and its biggest box office draw in all of Mexico. This character, also known as "Mystic", was a religious ring persona who was the storyline protégé of the wrestling priest Fray Tormenta.

In January 2011, Urive signed with WWE and was rebranded as Sin Cara. Born into a wrestling family, Urive is the son of Manuel Almanza, who wrestled under the ring name "Dr. Karonte". He is also the brother of wrestlers Astro Boy, Argos, Argenis, and an unspecified member of Los Mini Psycho Circus.

Furthermore, Urive is the cousin of wrestler Magnus and the nephew of CMLL booker Tony Salazar, emphasizing his deep roots in the world of professional wrestling.
