Born in Taiwan, Lung Fei had a prolific career in Hong Kong and other Asian cinema markets throughout the 1970s and 1980s, primarily appearing in martial arts films where he is perhaps most notably recognized for his portrayals of thick bearded or mustached villains.
Lung Fei had the opportunity to share the screen with Jimmy Wang Yu in several films, including Beach of the War Gods, released in 1973, The Screaming Tiger, released in 1972, Master of the Flying Guillotine, released in 1976, and the hit kung-fu film, The Savage Killers, also released in 1976, which was later spoofed in Steve Oedekerk's comedy, Kung Pow: Enter the Fist, in 2002, where Fei's character was renamed "Betty".
Some of Lung Fei's other notable roles include appearances in Sheng jian feng yun, released in 1977, alongside Ling Chia, also known as Gia Ling/Chia Ling/Judy Lee, Shao Lin pan tu, released in 1977, alongside the legendary Carter Wong and Polly Ling-Feng Shang-Kuan, and Tian di shuang yi tui, released in 1978, alongside marital arts mule-kicker, "Delon" Tao-Liang Tan.
As the martial arts genre began to decline in the early 1990s, Lung Fei retired from acting after 20 years and over 100 films. Since then, he has made only minor appearances in film and television.
