Maddie Phillips, a talented individual, was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and spent her early years in the city until the age of 10, when she made the move to Perth, Western Australia, where her maternal relatives reside.
Growing up, Maddie was a passionate and creative person, with a wide range of interests including soccer, singing, creative writing, photography, and the arts. However, acting was always her true love and passion.
After graduating from Penrhos College in 2012, Maddie decided to move back to Vancouver to pursue her dream of becoming an actress. She had studied theatre at L.A.M.D.A. (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts) and earned a High Distinction, which gave her the confidence to take the leap and audition for the ASAS program at Capilano University.
Although she received early acceptance into the program, Maddie decided to sign with an acting agency and pursue a career in film and television instead of continuing her education. She began training with various coaches and studios around the city, including Studio On the Drive, Railtown Studios, The Actors Foundry, and Austin Tuck Studios.
Throughout her journey, Maddie has continued to study and coach with Deb Podowski at Austin Tuck Studios, honing her craft and developing her skills as an actress.
