Biography

Madhur Jaffrey, a renowned actress and writer, came into this world on August 13, 1933, in the bustling neighborhood of Civil Lines, located in the vibrant city of Delhi, which was then under British colonial rule in India. Throughout her illustrious career, she has garnered widespread recognition for her captivating performances in a variety of films, including the 1994 cinematic masterpiece "Wolf", the 1985 romantic drama "Saagar", and the 1965 critically acclaimed "Shakespeare-Wallah". Madhur Jaffrey has been married to the talented musician Sanford Allen since 1969, and prior to that, she was married to the esteemed actor Saeed Jaffrey.
