Maggie is a multifaceted individual with a diverse range of skills and experiences in the film industry. She began her career as an actress, performing in numerous productions across the United States and London, and holds a double major undergraduate degree in Theatre and Political Science, as well as an MFA in Theatre Directing from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA, London).
Throughout her career, Maggie has had the privilege of studying with some of the most renowned master teachers in the industry, including Stella Adler, Eric Morris, Sande Shurin, Jeff Goldblum, and many others. This extensive training has enabled her to star in over 450 main stage productions and direct over 650 stage, film, television, and commercial productions.
Maggie has also had the opportunity to build and lead several theatre companies across the United States and London, including her most recent venture, Three Roses Players in Los Angeles. In addition to her work in theatre, Maggie has established three film and television production companies, with her first company, One In The Cannes Productions, founded in 2008.
Her production company has produced numerous short films, including Pacific Edge, Match Made, Brotherhood, The Phone, Alexander the Great, The Proposal, Smitten, The Promise, and Go Green, which have garnered a total of 71 filmmaking and screenwriting awards for directing, producing, and writing.
Maggie's most recent project, Brotherhood, starring Joe Sabatino, has been winning awards at film festivals around the world and has plans for a feature film and series in the near future. She has also had the privilege of directing Ed Asner and Barbara Bain in Pacific Edge, a film that has garnered 29 festival awards and is now a permanent selection on GAIA.
In addition to her work in film, Maggie has also had the opportunity to work with some of the most renowned figures in the industry, including Carl Reiner, Joe Bologna, and Ed and Liza Asner. She co-founded GrantWorks Productions & Development with Ed Asner, a production company that seeks out new material for film and television, and has developed several television and film projects.
Maggie's friend and mentor, Ed Asner, passed away, but his memory and their work together will never be forgotten.
