This move would have a profound impact on Malik's life, as it was in Kabul that he would discover his passion for acting.

As a young boy growing up in Kabul, Malik's life was forever changed when he stumbled upon the Pamir cinema, a local film house that would become a hub for his creative endeavors. It was at this cinema that Malik had the opportunity to meet Afghan director Siddiq Barmak, a renowned filmmaker in his own right. Barmak was immediately impressed by Malik's acting abilities and saw great potential in the young boy. As a result, he chose Malik to play a pivotal role in his film Osama, marking the young actor's acting debut at the tender age of nine.

Malik embarked upon his academic journey at the Esteghlal School in Kabul, where he diligently pursued his primary education. Not content to rest on his laurels, he soon secured his second notable role in the film Earth and Ashes, masterfully directed by the renowned Atiq Rahimi, in the latter half of 2004. The following calendar year, Malik's impressive acting prowess was showcased in Zolykha's Secret, a poignant cinematic endeavor that poignantly explores the struggles of a poverty-stricken Afghan family, under the astute direction of Horace Shansab.

In the year 2012, a pivotal moment in the burgeoning career of the multifaceted and accomplished actor, Malik, unfolded with his appearance in the thought-provoking film "Patience Stone", expertly directed by the visionary Atiq Rahimi. This significant milestone served to further cement Malik's reputation as a talented and rising star in the world of cinema.

His appreciation for traditional Afghan music is evident in his performances, which often take center stage in social gatherings and celebrations, where he shares his talents with others.

Malik's academic journey came to a close, and he subsequently pursued a degree in journalism at the prestigious Kabul University. Following his formal education, he made the bold decision to leave his native Afghanistan behind and embark on a new chapter in his life, relocating to Iran in the year 2019. Since his arrival in the Islamic Republic, Malik has had the opportunity to hone his craft as an actor, working alongside some of the most talented Iranian directors in the industry.
