Manuel Mozos, a renowned Portuguese film director, was born in the vibrant city of Lisbon in June 1959. Prior to embarking on his illustrious career in the film industry, Mozos pursued higher education in history and philosophy. He then went on to enroll at the prestigious School of Theatre and Cinema, where he honed his skills as an editor, specializing in the art of film editing. Throughout his extensive career, Mozos has been responsible for the editing of numerous films, showcasing his exceptional talent and attention to detail.
In 1989, Mozos made his directorial debut with the critically acclaimed film Um Passo, Outro Passo e Depois..., which marked the beginning of his journey as a feature film director. Just three years later, in 1992, Mozos directed his first feature-length film, Xavier, further solidifying his reputation as a talented and innovative filmmaker. In addition to his work in feature films, Mozos has also directed several documentaries and video clips, including the captivating 4 Hearts, which was produced and released by the esteemed Rosa Filmes.
