Born in the City of Light, Paris, France, Marc Marashi's early years were spent in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he cultivated a profound appreciation for the moving image, laying the foundation for his future endeavors in the world of filmmaking.
Marashi's academic journey began with the completion of his high school education, after which he embarked on a path to realize his ambition of becoming a skilled filmmaker by enrolling at Columbia College in Chicago. During his tenure at this esteemed institution, he had the opportunity to refine his artistic talents and ultimately earned a degree in film. It was during this period that Marashi started to establish himself as a rising talent within the film community, and upon graduating, he made the deliberate choice to remain in the vibrant city of Chicago, where he currently resides.
