Marcia, a talented thespian, was born and raised in the picturesque city of Evansville, Indiana, situated majestically on the banks of the Ohio River. She pursued her passion for the performing arts by earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama from the esteemed University of Evansville, followed by a Master's degree in Theatre from the University of Missouri in Columbia.
Born to Margaret and Harold Bennett, Marcia's love for acting began at a tender age of nine. She later obtained her Equity card at the renowned Barter Theatre in Abingdon, Virginia, and went on to collaborate with the illustrious actress and director, Jenny Egan, in New York City. As a co-founder of the Four Winds Theatre, Jenny Egan played a significant role in Marcia's early career.
In the mid-1970s, Marcia relocated to Toronto, Ontario, Canada, where she currently resides, holding dual citizenship as of 2014. She is the proud mother of one son, Daniel A. Schwartz, who has undoubtedly inherited his mother's creative spark.
