Marianna Komlos, a Canadian bodybuilder, fitness model, and valet, made a lasting impression in the world of professional wrestling, particularly in the World Wrestling Federation in 1999. Her stint as Marianna and "Mrs. Cleavage" was a memorable one, as she played the role of manager and "mother" to the wrestler "Beaver Cleavage", a parody of the popular TV show Leave It To Beaver.
Following the conclusion of the Beaver Cleavage gimmick, Komlos transitioned to become the girlfriend of Charles Warrington, adopting the persona "Chaz". Prior to her bodybuilding career, Komlos struggled with her weight, tipping the scales at 197 pounds in 1993. However, she found her calling in the world of bodybuilding and went on to win the middleweight class at the British Columbia Championships in 1997.
Komlos's physical prowess and striking appearance earned her widespread recognition, with Jerry Kindela, editor-in-chief of Flex, hailing her as "one of the most beautiful bodybuilders I've ever seen". Her cover appearances on numerous fitness magazines, including Muscle & Fitness, Flex, Women's Physique World, and Natural Bodybuilding & Fitness, cemented her status as a fitness icon.
In her competitive career, Komlos accumulated an impressive array of accolades, including first-place finishes at the 1996 Gators Classic, the 1997 British Columbia Championship, and the 1997 Women's Extravaganza.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Komlos was a devoted wife, marrying mixed martial artist and stunt performer Paul Lazenby in 2004. Tragically, her life was cut short when she succumbed to breast cancer on September 26, 2004, at the age of 35.
Marianna Komlos's legacy continues to inspire and influence the world of professional wrestling and bodybuilding, and her memory remains a testament to the enduring power of determination and perseverance.
