Marie-Gaëlle Cals embarked on her acting career in television, making her debut in the series "Florence Larrieu, Le Juge Est Une Femme". She then transitioned to the big screen in 2002, starring in Gérard Jugnot's film "Monsieur Batignole".
Subsequently, she landed a string of minor roles in films such as "Le Grand Rôle" in 2006 and "Les Yeux Bandés" in 2007. The same year, she played the role that would catapult her to fame, that of Alex in the popular television series "Un Flic".
