Marie Talon, a French author and screenwriter, embarked on a career that traversed multiple disciplines. Initially, she pursued a career in education, serving as a dance and physical education teacher. However, in 1983, she made a dramatic shift, transitioning to the world of theatre.
In 1990, Talon was recruited as the original co-host for the inaugural season of Fort Boyard, but her tenure was cut short after only nine episodes. That same year, she began cultivating her skills in filmmaking at the Conservatoire Libre du Cinéma Français (CLCF).
Talon's talents soon extended to television, as she co-wrote the television series Le nuage du Père Noël, which premiered on La 5 in December 1991. From 1994 to 1999, she served as the host of a cultural magazine on TV5.
As the years passed, Talon's professional endeavors continued to evolve. In 2001, she entered the realm of corporate filmmaking. Her literary pursuits also gained momentum, as she penned her first biographical novel, Henry Valensi, l'heure est venue, in 2013.
Talon's creative collaborations have yielded notable results. In 2014, she met director Charlene Favier, with whom she co-wrote the short film Odol Gorri (2019) and the feature film Slalom (2021).
In 2020, her first novel, Entre deux vendredis 13, was published by Maia, further solidifying her reputation as a versatile and accomplished author and screenwriter.
