Her acting journey commenced with a screen appearance in the Anna Magnani film, La fuggitiva, which was released in 1941. Throughout her illustrious career, she appeared in a multitude of films, primarily in small roles, as well as occasional leading roles, in a staggering total of nearly 100 films, both Italian and American.
