Marit, a Norwegian-born actress, entered the world on November 13, 1978, in the quaint town of Ørsta, Norway. Her fascination with the world of dance and theatre led her to make a significant move to London, England in 1997, where she pursued her passion for the performing arts.
Her introduction to the realm of film acting came about when she was handpicked to portray the captivating character of Verlaine, a member of a band of vampires, in the action-packed horror film sequel Blade II, alongside the renowned actor Wesley Snipes, in the year 2002. Since then, Marit has made appearances in various television series and short film productions.
Following her three-month stint on the set of Blade II, Marit relocated to various places, including a brief sojourn in New York, before eventually returning to London in early 2002.
