Mark David Charles Griffin, a talented English actor and writer, embarked on his acting journey when he relocated to Los Angeles, landing the lead role in the Disney TV series Action Man. For the next fourteen years, he remained in L.A., honing his craft and accumulating a wealth of experience. Upon his return to England, he diversified his acting repertoire and became a founding member of the Two Shillings & Sixpence Theatre Company, a group that performs three to four shows annually in Richmond, with the primary objective of raising funds for local charities.
Throughout his illustrious career, Griffin has appeared in a wide range of theatrical productions. Notable roles include Andy and Jimmy in Simon Stephen's Bluebird and Jonathan in Simon Stephen's Wastewater at The Tabard Theatre in Chiswick. He also portrayed David in Joe Wenbourne's Broken Strings at the Victoria Theatre, and Wenbourne's Touching The Blue at the Edinburgh Festival.
In addition to his work in theatre, Griffin has appeared in several notable productions. He played Kurt in Neil Labute's A Second of Pleasure, Phil in David Rabe's Those The River Keeps, and Simon in Alexi Kaye Campbell's Apologia, all in Richmond. His performances in the Two Faces Of Agent Lacey at the Above The Arts theatre in Leicester Square and Soldier On, Johnny Guy Lewis's play for The Soldiers Arts Academy, further solidify his reputation as a versatile and accomplished actor.
In early 2018, Griffin took on the role of Rickshaw in the National Tour of Soldier On, which is now being performed at The Other Palace Theatre in Victoria. Throughout his career, Griffin has consistently demonstrated his ability to adapt to diverse roles and genres, making him a highly respected and sought-after actor in the industry.
