Based in Hong Kong since the mid-1980s, King established a notable presence within the realm of Hong Kong action cinema, securing supporting roles in an immense array of Hong Kong movies, including several of the most iconic and influential films in Asian cinematic history. Notable examples of his work include appearances in Jackie Chan's "Armour of God 2: Operation Condor" and "Legend of Drunken Master", Jet Li's "Once Upon A Time In China", and Stephen Chow's "Fight Back To School".
As a non-martial artist, King demonstrated his willingness to take on physical challenges and perform stunts throughout his varied and extensive career in Hong Kong film. Over time, he progressed to serve as stunt coordinator and perform stunts in both the Hong Kong-lensed "Cracker" and "Night Watch", where he also doubled for Pierce Brosnan.
