Biography

Mark Rickerby is a multifaceted creative force, serving as co-owner, producer, and head writer at Temple Gate Films.

As a published author, he has penned several books and contributed stories to over 25 Chicken Soup for the Soul titles, as well as numerous magazines, including Black Belt and Inside Kung Fu.

In addition to his literary endeavors, Rickerby is the co-creator, producer, and head writer of the western series Harmony, currently in development.

His screenwriting credits include a variety of projects at various stages of development, and his work has garnered recognition, including winning Bravo channel's annual grand prize for a short film script based on one of his short stories.

Rickerby's fiction has also made a significant impact, with a story published in Black Belt magazine earning the editor's approval to lift a 20-year ban on fiction and receiving a "masterpiece" review from a critic.

With a degree in stage acting, Rickerby has also honed his craft through decades of writing classes and has worked part-time as a script supervisor, copy editor, and ghost writer.

As a self-proclaimed "word nerd," Rickerby has spent his entire adult life immersed in the world of words, and he is thrilled to be a part of it.
