Marlee Walchuk is a talented actress, singer, songwriter, musician, voice-over and recording artist from Vancouver, Canada. She has a background in theatre and has appeared in various TV shows, musicals, live bands, and commercials.
Marlee has also ventured into film and TV, acting opposite notable actresses such as Jessica Biel and Kim Fields. She has also appeared in several commercials, including Poise, HP, Shaw WiFi, Fox Sports, and Intel.
In addition to her acting and singing career, Marlee has also been involved in the music industry. She has released three original CD's with her dance-pop duo, Sugarbeach, and has had several singles reach number one on the GLBT music charts in the USA. Sugarbeach has won numerous awards, including three Pride In the Arts Awards and a nomination for an OUTmusic Award.
Marlee and her wife, Nathalie Callender, formed Sugarbeach and released two CD's of original dance/pop music. They have also written and performed several anthems, including "Living Out Proud" for the 30th Anniversary of Vancouver Pride and "Come On Out" for the 2011 North American Outgames.
Marlee has also been involved in various charitable initiatives, including creating a promotional site for LGBT original artists and a website that promotes and awards LGBT music and video artists.
In her personal life, Marlee has lived in Sydney, Australia for six years and has been married to Nathalie Callender since then.
