Marmee Cabildo Cosico was born on November 10, 1969, at around 12 pm in San Pablo City, Laguna, Philippines, to the late Atty. Regino S. Cosico and Marina C. Cosico. She grew up in the small town of Alaminos in the region of Laguna, Luzon.
Cosico studied elementary and high school at Canossa College, also located in San Pablo City. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Santo Tomas, where she also pursued her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology. Additionally, she studied Doctor of Medicine at Fatima University.
During her time in medical school, Cosico worked as a court psychologist and expert witness in various Regional Trial Courts in the Philippines, focusing on annulment of marriage cases. She also reduced psychological case reports on civil cases.
Cosico is an Associate Member of the American Psychological Association, a member of the American Society of Pharmacy Practitioners, and a Certified Pharmacy Technician in the USA. She has been living in New York since September 2002.
In the latter part of 2005, Cosico pursued a career in acting. In 2009, she started doing television commercials for foreign language voice overs in Tagalog. In November 2009, she was accepted as an online media writer for healthy living in New York City for examiner.com.
In 2010, she wrote three articles for a free daily paper, Brooklyn Voice. In February 2011, she was cast as the wife of an Asian dignitary played by Japanese actor James Saito (Life of Pi) in the HBO TV film "Too Big to Fail." The film aired on HBO TV channel in June 2012.
In July 2012, Cosico was accepted as an online media writer for health in Los Angeles, California, for examiner.com. In February 2013, she enrolled in an online ProSeries 44 class in screenwriting and became an Alumni Member in November 2013.
In October 2013, she was listed as one of the producers among international filmmakers in limesfilms.com/#team, where they are currently filming a documentary in the Vatican City. Cosico is now living in Woodside, New York, and is currently studying pre-requisite subjects for her second bachelor's degree in Nursing at Hunter College, taking a science subject at Queensborough Community College.
