Martin Kramer's journey in the film industry began in 2017 and has been marked by numerous achievements. In 2018, he made the significant decision to relocate to Canada to pursue his passion for film at Concordia University. During his time at the prestigious institution, Martin directed a remarkable five short films, showcasing his exceptional skills behind the camera. These films include The Tub (2018),Empty Nest (2019),the Blue Cowboy (2019),Mr. Quaratine's Haircut (2020),and Family Photos (2021),which was selected at the Concordia Film Festival.
In addition to his directing endeavors, Martin also demonstrated his versatility by taking on sound design responsibilities for the films of his classmates. His impressive portfolio includes work on N.U.N.S. with Nunchucks (2021),which was selected at the Fantasia International Film Festival, Mango Lemon Soda (2022),NDDJ (2022),and RIDM. Upon completing his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, Martin transitioned to a freelance sound designer, collaborating on projects such as Ratgirl (2023).
Martin's talents extend beyond sound design, as he has also made appearances in short films, including My New Knee Movie (2023),the music video for Video Age's single, Record Shop (2024),The Life Of Johnson (2024),and Pain Rat (2025). Currently, he is dedicated to the post-production process of his upcoming short film, Bella Gets Poisoned.
