This demanding role required him to work a suburban relief roster, screening a double feature at a different cinema every night, showcasing ten different movies per week. This grueling schedule not only honed his technical skills but also instilled in him a deep passion for cinema.
Martyn's affinity for the Renaissance men of modern cinema is evident in his approach to filmmaking, which embodies the do-it-yourself attitude and self-immersing approach of a solo artist. As the driving force behind A Lonedog Production, he often takes on all the crew roles, working independently to bring his vision to life.
