Masayoshi Haneda, a talented individual, was born on November 13th, 1976, in the vibrant city of Tokyo, Japan. With a passion for acting that was evident from a young age, he dedicated himself to honing his craft. From 1999 to 2000, under the guidance of Yoko Narahashi, he attended the prestigious United Performers' Studio (UPS Academy) in Tokyo, where he refined his skills under the tutelage of esteemed instructors.
After completing his formal education, Haneda continued his artistic development through workshops conducted by renowned teachers from the Actors Studio in New York. This extensive training enabled him to further develop his acting abilities and prepared him for the demands of a successful career in the entertainment industry.
Haneda's early endeavors included stage productions directed by notable directors such as Yoko Narahashi and Robert Allan Ackerman, as well as numerous roles in Japanese V cinema. In 2003, he made a significant contribution to the film industry by serving as a stunt performer on the critically acclaimed film, The Last Samurai.
Throughout his career, Haneda has appeared in a wide range of films, including When the Last Sword Is Drawn (2003),Oh! My Zombie Mermaid (2004),Marebito (2004),Godzilla: Final Wars (2004),and Memories of Matsuko (2006). His international debut took place in July 2006, with the joint French-German-Indian independent film, Valley of Flowers.
In 2008, Haneda appeared in the American-Japanese film, The Ramen Girl, followed by a role in the 2012 historical drama, The Emperor, where he played the role of Matthew Fox's driver and interpreter. This was preceded by a significant role as a samurai in the 2013 film, 47 Ronin. In 2014, he portrayed a soldier in the action-packed film, Edge of Tomorrow.
