Masayuki Kouda is a multifaceted Japanese creative professional, boasting a diverse range of skills within the realm of animation.

Initially, he began his career as an in-between artist for Studio Pierrot, laying the foundation for his future endeavors.

His breakthrough as a key animator in 2005 marked the beginning of a successful trajectory, with his work gaining recognition across the industry.

Notably, Kouda's talent was first showcased in the anime series 'Blue Dragon' (2007),where his exceptional drawing skills earned him the distinction of being a high-priority animation director for the Naruto Shippuden franchise from 2010 to 2013.

In 2014, he expanded his repertoire by taking on the roles of character designer and chief animation director for the popular show 'Baby Steps'.

Furthermore, Kouda made his directorial debut with Naruto Shippuden episode 469 in 2016, solidifying his position as a leading figure within the franchise's staff, and subsequently, a prominent member of the Naruto franchise's creative team.
