Born in a small Siberian town in Russia, Masha Gerasimovich was raised in a hard-working class family by her grandmother and her father, who instilled in her a strong work ethic from a young age.
As a child, Masha took drama classes and performed in the local theater, showcasing her natural talent and passion for the performing arts. Despite being a reserved individual, she thrived on the stage, feeding off the energy of her audience and honing her craft.
After completing her education, Masha earned her Master's degree in Civil Engineering at the age of 22, a testament to her intelligence and determination. However, she soon discovered that her true calling lay elsewhere.
In the United States, Masha began to pursue a career in modeling, appearing in numerous runway shows, including Miami Beach International Fashion Week, Haiti Fashion Week, and charity events across South Florida. Her versatility and range impressed designers and audiences alike, earning her recognition as a talented and dedicated model.
As Masha's modeling career took off, she began to explore her passion for acting, landing her first leading role in the independent feature film "What Lies Beyond...The Beginning" in 2012. Directed by Jarrod A Knowles, the film marked a significant milestone in Masha's journey as an actress.
To further develop her skills, Masha enrolled in acting classes at the prestigious Acting School of South Florida, where she honed her craft under the guidance of renowned instructors. She also took master classes with Gilda Pianelli, Barbara Sloan, and Sherman Roberts at the University Center for the Performing Arts and the Burt Reynolds Institute.
In addition to her acting pursuits, Masha has also been involved in various other projects. In 2014, she served as an Honorary Judge during the festival season, and currently, she serves as the Director of Programming for the Wide Screen Film & Music Video Festival, a prestigious and internationally recognized event held annually in South Florida.
Throughout her journey, Masha has demonstrated her versatility, dedication, and passion for the performing arts. From her early days in Siberia to her current endeavors in the United States, she has consistently pushed herself to new heights, earning recognition and respect within her industry.
