As a group of high school friends, Mathew Kister co-founded the micro-budget horror production company, Dead Lantern Pictures, a venture that would allow him to bring his unique vision to life. With a focus on crafting schlocky horror shorts, Mathew Kister wrote and directed numerous films, including the critically acclaimed Shivers Down Your Spine anthology series.
His impressive portfolio of work soon expanded to feature-length films, with Mathew Kister taking the reins as writer and director for three standout horror movies: The Grand Horror, Outpost Doom, and The Eyes of Isabelle.
