Matilda Szydagis, a talented individual with a rich cultural background, was born and raised on the vibrant South Side of Chicago. Her family's journey, which originated from Poland, has instilled in her a deep appreciation for her heritage, and she is proud to speak the Polish language fluently.
Her impressive acting career has been marked by a variety of memorable roles, with one of her most notable performances being her portrayal of Zelda on the critically acclaimed Amazon Prime series, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. She had the honor of being a part of the show for all five seasons, and her outstanding ensemble work earned her a prestigious SAG Award alongside her talented castmates for Outstanding Ensemble in a Comedy Series.
Prior to her time on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Matilda made a significant impact as Yaryna on the iconic HBO series, The Sopranos.
Matilda's academic pursuits have also played a significant role in shaping her artistic talents. She graduated from the esteemed University of Chicago, where she developed a strong foundation in the arts.
