Matthew (MD) Huffman, an accomplished American writer and filmmaker, has garnered widespread recognition for his outstanding work on projects such as The Hunters and Playing Mona Lisa. Prior to embarking on his illustrious career, Huffman had the privilege of attending the prestigious New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, where he was honored with a nomination for a Student Academy Award.
In the early stages of his professional journey, Huffman formed a creative partnership with the esteemed producer and director, Alan J. Pakula. This alliance proved to be a fruitful one, paving the way for a series of successful collaborations. Subsequently, Huffman joined forces with producer Sid Sheinberg, further solidifying his reputation within the industry.
As his career continued to flourish, Huffman took the initiative to officially establish his own motion picture production company, Firelight Productions, in the year 2005.
