Hailing from Buck County, Pennsylvania, Matthew von Manahan's creative journey began at the highly respected Florida State University Film School, where he honed his skills and developed his unique voice as a filmmaker.
In 2002, Matthew von Manahan made history as the youngest student in the school's history to be a finalist in the prestigious Coca-cola Refreshing Filmmaker Award. His 50-second short film, "Prometheus Rebound," earned a remarkable 2nd place nationally, further solidifying his reputation as a talented young filmmaker.
Following his graduation, Matthew von Manahan returned to his hometown, where he devoted the next five years to developing his passion project, "The Book of Caleb." This ambitious project, which starred Paul Gleason and Mackenzie Firgens, showcased Matthew's ability to bring complex characters to life and tell compelling stories on the big screen.
