Mauricio's career-defining moment transpired in 1996 when he landed the lead role in the highly acclaimed and widely popular Spanish-language television series, "María la del Barrio". In this critically acclaimed production, Mauricio had the esteemed opportunity to portray the captivating character of Aldo Armenteros, alongside the renowned and multi-talented Mexican singer, actress, and businesswoman, Thalía.
