Person Biography:
Max Nardari was born in Padova and is a multi-talented individual with a background in directing, screenwriting, producing, and music composing. He graduated in Dams from the University of Bologna with a thesis on Pedro Almodovar and later graduated from the Nuovo Cinecittà film school. Nardari began his career by directing numerous music videos and writing for various Italian artists, including Raf and Fabrizio Moro.
In 2003, he founded his own production company, Reset Production, which has since produced a wide range of films, including feature films, short films, music videos, and documentaries. Many of these productions were written and directed by Nardari himself and have been broadcast on RAI Television.
In 2015, Nardari directed his first feature film, "Liubov Pret-a-Portè" (also known as "Like a Rainbow"),a co-production between Italian and Russian companies. The film premiered in Russia and was later screened at the Tokyo Film Festival.
In 2016, Nardari wrote, directed, and produced "La Mia Famiglia a Soqquadro" (also known as "My Family in a Mess"),which premiered at the Tokyo Film Festival and was later released in Italy.
In 2018, Nardari directed two new social short films, "Invisible" and "Love Has Not Religion," which won several festival awards. He also received the Glass Lion Award at the 75th Venice International Film Festival for his work as a comedy director.
In 2019, Nardari co-produced and co-directed the short film "Gocce d'Acqua" and directed the feature film "Di Tutti i Colori." He also presented the Italian-Russian Felix Award, winning as best director for "Liubov Pret-a-Portè."
In 2021, Nardari directed and produced the film "Diversamente," which was distributed by 102 distribution on Chili and Amazon Prime. He also directed and produced the film "Ritorno al Presente," which was distributed by Emera film.
Nardari's upcoming projects include the film "Amici per Caso," which is scheduled to begin production in July 2022.
