Born and raised in a family that has relocated numerous times, Maxine has experienced the unique blend of East Coast and Pacific Northwest lifestyles, ultimately shaping her perspective and artistic expression. Her parents, both hailing from the picturesque island of Haiti, have instilled in Maxine a deep appreciation for her Caribbean heritage, making her a first-generation American.
Maxine's unwavering dedication to her craft is evident in her relentless pursuit of education. While studying at Boston University, she seized the opportunity to further hone her skills at the prestigious London Academy of Music & Dramatic Arts.
Since graduating, Maxine has been prolific in her work, appearing in a range of projects, including Lady Anne in Richard III, Rina in "Sunday Fun Day", and Eve Scott in "Aghast". Her recent guest appearance on the popular NPR show, The State of Things, hosted by Frank Stasio, further solidified her presence in the industry.
In addition to her acting endeavors, Maxine is a passionate filmmaker, working as a partner at MiRu Productions, a film and media company.
